Format:
4 teams from the Apertura contest the Apertura - Final participant in a knockout format.

Semi-finals:
4 teams are distributed into 2 pairs, according to their Apertura standings:
1st vs 4th;
2nd vs 3rd.
Winners are decided over two legs.
The higher placed teams in the Apertura host the second legs.

Final:
The two Semi-finals winners meet each other, with the winner becoming Final Stages winner.
Winner is decided over two legs.
The higher placed team in the Apertura hosts the second leg.

Tie-breakers for the Finals knockout matches:
1. aggregate score from the two legs, 2. extra time, 3. penalties.

2 teams contest the Apertura champion in a knockout format.
If one team wins both the Apertura and the Apertura - Final Stages, then no Final is played and that team automatically becames the Apertura champion.

Final:
The two teams meet each other with the winner becoming Apertura champion.
Winner is decided over two legs.
The higher placed team in the Apertura hosts the second leg.

Tie-breakers for the Finals knockout matches:
1. aggregate score from the two legs, 2. extra time, 3. penalties.
